Kurt Vile and The Violators Columbus Concert reviews
What a disappointment
I spent over $2000 on three tickets for myself, my husband, and my son (who is also a huge fan) to meet with the band and enjoy what I thought was going to be an amazing concert and opportunity to spend some time meeting with the band members. We spend nearly all of our time before the concert in the 'Meet and Greet' section talking to the staff working the event, NOT the members of Kurt Vile and The Violators. I thought my dream was finally going to come true when I purchased VIP Meet and Greet tickets to their concert at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL. However, I was BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!!
I am sorry to say that not only was this a significant waste of money, it fulfilled nothing even close to what had been promised and what I expected. Oh well, I thought, at least they will put on a fantastic performance. I was devastated, literally heartbroken, over the complete LACK of everything I was expecting to see from them. Thankfully, Tesla and Styx did a phenomenal job to make my trip and at least a portion of my ticket price worth attending.
Instead of embarrassing themselves and disappointing the thousands of us that spent good money to see them, they should have given us the courtesy of either cancelling or rescheduling their concert! That was absolutely NOT worth $725.00 per ticket. Years of anticipation completed demolished in one hour. It was so bad that many concert goers, including us, left the concert before the band had even finished. We got to see the band for less than one minute and then were shuffled out. Shake hands, picture, gone. It was literally less than one minute.
